Damien
Damien worked in the electrical wholesaler industry previous to his trade. He was then offered an apprenticeship and that’s where it all started
Damien completed his apprenticeship in 2011, working mainly on new homes and rural work including large sheds and power pole installations in South East QLD. Once he become a qualified tradesman he worked on large scale commercial fits out and new builds.
Active Electrical Industries began in 2013. Damien started as a one man band and now he has a team of 6! Damien’s passion for the industry and confidence has been his driving force. He specialises in boutique domestic and commercial renovations also air conditioning and solar.

Connor
Connor finished school and completed his apprenticeship with a large commercial company in Brisbane.
Throughout his apprenticeship he worked on schools, electrical work and commercial developments. He loves working on switchboards and feature lighting.
We value Connor’s hard work, great attitude and constant helpfulness! We are more then happy to have Connor as part of our team!

Kallum
Before starting his apprenticeship with us Kallum completed a Certificate II in Electrotechnology.
Kallum started doing work experience with us back in October 2020 while also working two other jobs.
He commenced his apprenticeship in May 2021. Kallum is eager to learn and is a great part of our team. Keep up the hard work Kallum!

Philip
Philip started his apprenticeship in 1976 with the Brisbane City Council specialising in automation mainly traffic signals.
Philip has worked on huge automation projects including dam flood gates in the NT and production lines in the Solomon Islands.
He loves doing stand alone solar on Fraser Island and is semi retired helping the young guns work out all the technical glitches the industry presents!

Jordan
Jordan has been with us since early 2018 commencing his apprenticeship in 2019.
He worked in horticulture after leaving school and worked as a builders labourer for some time all over Australia.
New builds, air conditioning and solar is what Jordan enjoys to work on. He’s currently in his 3rd year apprenticeship just about to start his 4th year and he’s absolutely smashing it! We couldn’t be prouder of what he has achieved and how hard he works!

Natalie
Natalie is pivotal in making sure the Active Office runs smoothly.
From implementing and maintaining procedures including bookkeeping, payroll, supplies, and HR.
Natalie completed her Certificate 3 in Business Sales & Administration in 2009 and has over 12 years in experience as an administrator in the construction industry.
